Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians told “NFL AM” on the NFL Network that ”there’s no doubt” that Rashard Mendenhall will be their number one back this season. “Rashard is just 25 years old (he turns 26 on Wednesday),” Arians said. “He took me personally to a Super Bowl, and I know what he can bring to the table as a runner and a pass protector and also a receiver. He’s an every-down player. And I think he’s looking forward to having an outstanding season.” After struggling with injuries the past couple of years, Arians says Mendenhall is “ready to go.” If Mendenhall can return to his 2010 form, the Cardinals will be in great shape.  And I have a feeling he’ll do just that.
