Bryant McKinnie is the defendant in a lawsuit filed by Charles Young, father of rapper Trick Daddy. The lawsuit says the offensive linemen owes $375,000 for services at a series of South Florida strip clubs between February 2009 and September 2010. Charles “Pop” Young, filed the lawsuit in Miami-Dade Circuit Court on Monday afternoon. According to the Baltimore Sun the Ravens offensive linemen has called the story “bogus.” “I got no papers, I was never served,” McKinnie told The Baltimore Sun in a telephone interview. “I just called my lawyer about this because this is a bogus story. I just read the article. He was working at those places and he’s tried to borrow money from me. People can put anything out there. What strip club gives you a $375,000 tab? It just sounds stupid to me. I’ve never heard of this in my life. This is bogus to me. For it to be even reported is stupid to me.” McKinnie also said that “You could never run up a tab like that” and that he just found out about the suit though he says this is the “least of my worries.” According to the suit, McKinnie agreed to square up with Young, even signing a promissory note. Young said McKinnie hasn’t paid any of it. Young is seeking to recover the money plus interest, as well as his costs. McKinnie took a $1 million pay cut to remain with the Ravens this year lowering his salary to $2.2 million. He would make a $1 million bonus if he plays in 50 percent of the Ravens snaps but thus far he has spent the season on the bench. In September the Baltimore Sun reported that McKinnie’s wages are being garnished this year as he repays Pro Player Funding for a loan he took out during the 2011 NFL lockout. He owed the company more then $4.5 million at the beginning of the season.
