Bryce Brown’s Fantasy Football Value in 2013 The results of early ADP in mock drafts as well as early bird drafts, have shown that running backs, more so than any recent year, are  flying off of the board at a furious pace. Fantasy owners know that running backs that you can rely on week to week are becoming harder to find. In times like these you have to dig deeper for talent and not take each player at face value. Given the current use of a running back, and what it cost to either draft or trade for them in fantasy leagues, it may be time to start shifting focus from owning a stud running back to owning part of the committee that you think has the most upside. A perfect example of value that could be had this season is Philadelphia Eagles running back Bryce Brown. Coming into the 2012 draft, Brown had some red flags. There were many questions surrounding his desire to play the game after leaving the University of Tennessee. Brown was also investigated by the NCAA for improper recruiting contact with Miami booster Nevin Shapiro. Bryce Brown ended up being drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the seventh round of the 2012 NFL draft. He busted onto the scene after taking over the job mid season due to LeSean McCoy suffering from concussion symptoms. In his first two games as a starter, Brown put up 43 carries for 347 yards and 4 touchdowns. Things started to go downhill though, as he fumbled 3 times within those two games. Most people could see that the talent was there, but with the fumbling and McCoy returning to action soon after, most people wrote off Bryce Brown. 2013 could be a great year to add or draft Bryce Brown onto your roster. The Chip Kelly fast paced offense is now in town in Philly. Kelly used a multiple back system while in Oregon, and we can look for things to be similar for the Eagles. Offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur has gone on record to say that the Eagles will be using a two back system this coming season. Brown’s ADP is 112, which is in the round nine to ten range. He is currently the 42nd running back going off the board. Despite his fumbles, his ADP is an excellent spot to take a flier on a guy who should get plenty of playing time and holds fantastic value. His draft stock may go up through the preseason, if we do in deep see this Eagles offense go to a two back system, and if it appears that he is over the fumbling issue. Fantasy Factor Bryce Brown is a player to target in the mid to late rounds of current fantasy drafts, or a guy to acquire on the cheap if in an existing dynasty league. He should be obtained for his upside and potential, as it may still take awhile to see his role in this new offense, and how he has worked on his fumbling issues during the off season. K-State's Brown turning heads at perfect time

KANSAS CITY, Mo. The book in April 2012 said this, on giant stone tablets chiseled by Mel Kipers hair: 6-foot-0.5, 210 pounds 40 time: 4.58 Lacks size and overmatched by opponents not a strong tackler with the ability to bring ballcarriers down on initial contact swallowed up by blocks and struggles getting through the trash.
