The Buccaneers activated second-year DE DaQuan Bowers to the 53-man roster and said he should play in Thursday nights game against the Vikings.
Bowers tore his Achilles six months ago and began the season on the physically-unable-to-perform list.
As a rookie last season, Bowers played in all 16 games with six starts and made 25 tackles, 1½ sacks and four passes defensed. The Bucs released CB LeQuan Lewis to make room for Bowers on the 53-man roster. Source: Pro Football Weekly Attached Thumbnails

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Week 8 NFL Power Rankings (#25)
Last week: 25 (-1) Record: 2-4 So apparently you can shove a receiver out of bounds and that’s not PI, but if he comes back in bounds and catching a game tying touchdown, that’s a penalty. I picked the Buccaneers last week, so obviously I was pissed about that. That and Vincent Jackson going for [...]

But the building is more complicated than that. In the best and loudest of moments, it is stagnancy exploded. There's no air to carry away the piercing...

Buccaneers, Schiano want to change narrative
The Bucs would like the change the narrative on first-year coach Greg Schiano. Tampa Bay is 2-4 and has lost every game by a touchdown or less, including Sunday's 35-28 thriller against the New Orleans Saints Sunday. But as Tampa Bay travels to Minnesota to play in a nationally televised game on NFL Network against the Vikings in the Metrodome, the storyline continues to...

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Minnesota Vikings: Week 8 NFL Pick
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-5) at Minnesota Vikings (5-2) As I like to mention every week, the rule of thumb on Thursday Night is to take the home team. Home teams are 68-49 ATS in the history of Thursday Night football. It makes sense. On a short week, all the time to prepare, practice, and rest [...]
