Will he return? Will he retire? Will he play elsewhere? Those questions still remain as the Buccaneers met with veteran defensive back Ronde Barber to ultimately leave the decision on his return up to him.  General manager Mark Dominik released a statement Saturday morning: Coach Schiano and I met with Ronde this past week and expressed our desire for him to return to play another season with the Buccaneers. He asked us for some time to make his decision and we certainly respect that. Tampa Bay is handling the Barber situation very well. He was more than a leader and a captain to the team as he was seen on several occasions as a teacher on the field to the young players. Problem with this situation is how long will the waiting game be? Will the Buccaneers allow Barber to truly take his time or will they try to press the issue? Moves have to be made in the Buccaneers secondary this offseason. The longer the team waits, the more they will miss out on players they may be targeting that revolves around Barber’s decisions. At the same time, they could very well move forward without an immediate answer from him. Either way, here’s hoping the situation does not turn ugly.
