After being re-instated by the NFL, and being ready for a season that was filled with so much promise for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, starting cornerback Aqib Talib has been placed on injured reserve. The Buccaneers have decided that Talib is not fit to finish the remainder of the season and leaving him on the active roster would simply be a waste of a player.
Talib’s latest injury, a hamstring that was tweaked against the Dallas Cowboys, has been plaguing him throughout the second half of the season and has limited his play the entire season. Talib’s numbers have dropped off significantly this season and his play has been considerably bad seeing how he has shown the ability to play at a much higher level. E.J Biggers, normally the Buccaneers nickle back, will now assume starting cornerback duties.
