Jason La Canfora of ESPN reports that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are releasing RB Peyton Hillis. The release of Hillis comes as no surprise given that the 27-year-old running back has already been deactivated for a game this season, and is currently listed as the No.4 back on the Bucs depth chart. Hillis never recorded an official carry with the Bucs after having been surpassed by rookie Mike James in the preseason. The hype following Hilli’s impressive 2010 season has worn off after failed attempts with the Browns, Chiefs and now the Buccaneers. Tampa Bay promoted TE Danny Noble from their practice to take Hillis’ place. The post Buccaneers Release RB Peyton Hillis appeared first on NFL Trade Rumors -.
