The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced the signing of free agent offensive tackle Jamon Meredith and the releases of defensive ends Tim Crowder and Nick Reed. A fifth round pick out of South Carolina by the Green Bay Packers in 2009, Meredith opened his career on the Packers' practice squad before accepting an offer to join the Buffalo Bills' 53-man roster. Meredith started four of eight games for the 2009 Bills, but has appeared in just nine games over the last two seasons, which has been split between the Bills, Detroit Lions, New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers. Pittsburgh opted to not place a restricted free agent tender on Meredith, making him a free agent.
