Although Ronde Barber has won a Super Bowl, been to 5 Pro Bowl appearances and came up huge in bigger games than last weeks game against the Atlanta Falcons being named player of the week, for the 9th time, is still something that Ronde enjoys. Barber contributed in last weeks game against the Falcons by recording four tackles, one for loss, a fumble recovery, five passes defensed, and an interception, and to top all that off this was all done in man to man coverage over the entire field.
Here’s what Barber had to say about receiving the award, “This is not the first time … but I’m glad it was with a win. It was a great effort by the team. I had some standout plays in there, but I’m always humble with these types of awards.
