It appears the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be without defensive tackle Gerald McCoy for this week's game against the New Orleans Saints. McCoy injured his left ankle during Sunday's 48-3 loss at San Francisco. While coach Raheem Morris was still unsure on Monday of the severity of the injury, he admitted he was not optimistic about McCoy's chances of playing. "I've seen different things come about on Thursday and Friday, so right now I'm not really motivated to say he's definitely going to play this week,'' Morris said. "But I'm not ready to count him out yet, either.
