Getty Images According to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com, former Alabama safety Mark Barron has signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. “Per a league source with knowledge of the situation, the Buccaneers and Barron have agreed to terms,” reported Florio. “The fully-guaranteed, four-year contract includes a signing bonus of $8.961 million and base salaries of $390,000 in 2012, $1.047 million in 2013, $1.705 million in 2014, and $2.362 million in 2014,” wrote Florio. Barron also doesn’t include any offset language.  So in the case that the Bucs cut him at any time, they would still be forced to pay him all of his guaranteed money even if he signs with another team.
