ESPN is reporting that tight end Jerramy Stevens was arrested last night on three counts: possession of cannabis with intent to sell, possession of cannabis, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Stevens will not play in today’s game against the St. Louis Rams.
Stevens had previously been convicted of driving under the influence in 2007 and reckless driving in 2003, when he was a Seattle Seahawk.
Stevens also allegedly participated in some extremely un-Chick-friendly behavior in his college days at the University of Washington. I won’t even go into the stomach-churning details, but here is a link to The Seattle Times article in which the story was unearthed. Suffice it to say, I’ve been rooting for Stevens’ ouster since reading The Seattle Times report.
