The Buccaneers announced Tuesday that cornerback LeQuan Lewis was promoted from the practice squad. To make room for Lewis, the team released cornerback Brandon McDonald. Here is information from the team’s official press release: Lewis has appeared in one game for the Buccaneers this season, in addition to playing in three games with the Dallas Cowboys, including the Week 3 matchup between Dallas and Tampa Bay, where he recorded one tackle and a pass defensed. Lewis originally entered the league with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted rookie out of Arizona State in 2011. Brandon McDonald appeared in eight games this season and had an interception against Eli Manning and the Giants in week two. Tampa Bay also announced they signed tight end LaMark Brown to the practice squad. Brown is an undrafted rookie from Minnesota State Mankato but started his college career with Kansas State.
