The Buccaneers announced Tuesday that cornerback LeQuan Lewis was promoted from the practice squad. To make room for Lewis, the team released cornerback Brandon McDonald. Here is information from the team’s official press release: Lewis has appeared in one game for the Buccaneers this season, in addition to playing in three games with the Dallas Cowboys, including the Week 3 matchup between Dallas and Tampa Bay, where he recorded one tackle and a pass defensed. Lewis originally entered the league with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted rookie out of Arizona State in 2011. Brandon McDonald appeared in eight games this season and had an interception against Eli Manning and the Giants in week two. Tampa Bay also announced they signed tight end LaMark Brown to the practice squad. Brown is an undrafted rookie from Minnesota State Mankato but started his college career with Kansas State. Eli Manning has had a really rough stretch, but the Bengals secondary is just what he needs to rebound. Expect some big numbers coming from this offense.
The New York Giants blew a fourth-quarter lead last week as their four-game winning streak came to an end. With a recent history of struggling through the second half of the season, they hope a matchup with the sliding Cincinnati Bengals proves to be just what they need.

The Chiefs are freakin’ terrible giving up 2 or more TDs in 7 out of 8 games this season. Todd Haley has already stated he may run up the score on his ex-squad and Big Ben should easily eclipse 250/2 this week.
