The Buccaneers announced today the re-signings of two key pieces of their special teams: line specialist Andrew Economos and linebacker Jacob Cutrera.  Here is the information from the Buccaneers’ press release: Economos, a special teams captain in 2010 and 2012, has played in 92 games with the Buccaneers, recording 20 special teams tackles and one forced fumble. In 2012, Economos snapped for  Connor Barth, who led the NFL in made field goals of 40+ yards. He was also the primary long snapper during Barth’s streak of 25 consecutive field goals, stretching from 2011-12, a Buccaneer record. The seven-year veteran originally entered the league in 2006 as a college free agent with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Cutrera has played in 24 career games during his three seasons, including 16 with the Buccaneers from 2011-12. He has recorded 11 special teams tackles and two forced fumbles in his career.
