According to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, the Buccaneers have signed place-kicker Connor Barth to a four-year contract. His deal is worth $13.2 million with $4 million guaranteed.
The Bucs placed the franchise tag on Barth at the beginning of the offseason and he recently reported to OTA’s since he was close to getting a new done completed.
The 26 year-old Barth connected on 26 of 28 field goal attempts in 2011. His longest kick of the season was a 55 yard field goal.

I remember interviewing then-UCLA defensive lineman Brian Price before the 2010 NFL draft, where he was taken in the second round by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tampa Bay defensive tackle Brian Price, a former UCLA standout, is once again dealing with heartbreak.
