The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today the signing of 13-year veteran kicker Rian Lindell.  Lindell (6-3, 227) joins the Buccaneers after spending the past 10 seasons with the Buffalo Bills, where he holds franchise records in field goal percentage (83.3), consecutive PAT’s made (225), field goal percentage in a single season (92.0) and consecutive field goals made (18). He also ranks second in Bills history in field goals made (225) and points scored (980). Entering his 14th season, Lindell has played in 196 games, connecting on 283-of-348 field goals (81.3 percent) and 401-of-402 extra points (99.8 percent). He connected on his first 321 extra points, the longest streak to begin a career in NFL history. Before joining the Bills, Lindell spent three seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, playing in 44 games. Lindell, a native of Vancouver, Wash., played collegiately at Washington State University, where he ranks fourth on the career scoring list.
