It’s always good to see people helping people. Today. the Tampa Bay Lightning announced that they have teamed up with Bucs’ wide receiver Vincent Jackson and his Jackson in Action 83 Foundation to help military families and related charities in attending tonight’s game against the Jets. www.jacksoninaction83.org Jackson will provide tickets for tonight’s game to a number of groups, including but not limited to, MacDill Air Force Base 6th Air Mobility Wing, US Central Command/SOCENT, US Special Operations Command, USO, Army Reserve Medical Command and Support Our Troops. Of the special guests coming to the game courtesy of Jackson, a select few will ride to the Times Forum in style from MacDill Air Force Base on the Sun Sports Lightning Fan Express. Jackson had this to say via the Bolts’ press release: I want to thank the Lightning for their incredible support of the Jackson In Action 83 Foundation and our work with the children of military families experiencing deployment. Their generosity in collaborating with my foundation to provide tickets to military personnel for an evening of fun with their families is so appreciated. We are all excited for hockey to be back and the Lightning to have a great season! One of the joys of being in Tampa Bay is level of team work and support we all share for vital causes.  Nowhere is that more apparent than in the sporting community. The Lightning supporting the Jackson in Action 83 Foundation is a perfect example. The mission of the Jackson in Action 83 Foundation, Inc. is to help United States servicemen and servicewomen stay connected with their children during their deployments.   The post Bucs’ Vincent Jackson and the Lightning partner up for charity appeared first on The Bay Cave.
