60 Max Power O:
The Tennessee Titans lost their match-up with the Chicago Bears this past Sunday, being dismantled 51-20.
Having 50 points put on you and losing by 31 has to be extremely embarrassing for everyone associated with the Titans organization. Apparently, the owner will not stand for it.
Bud Adams had some pointed comments about his team after the game.
Per the Tennessean: Adams was quoted as saying, “In my 50 years of owning an NFL franchise, I am at a loss to recall a regular season home game that was such a disappointment for myself, and fans of the Titans.”
“We were grossly outcoached and outplayed from start to finish today.”
Adams then added, “At this time, all aspects of the organization will be closely evaluated, including front office, coaches and players over the next seven games. If performance and competitiveness does not improve, I will look at all alternatives to get back to having the Titans become a playoff and championship football team.”
It’s sounding like heads will begin to roll in Tennessee if things don’t get turned around quickly.
Nobody is safe from the top of the organization to the bottom.

Bud Adams made his displeasure known following an embarrassing loss to the Chicago Bears. Something he probably should have shown much sooner than this. How many weeks of prevent defense do we have to look at? How many games do we have to watch talent on defense constantly being wiped out by bad play calling? We had to endure more than a year of watching Chris Johnson struggle because...
Finally, a week where we didn’t lose to a hot chick. Not to say we’re happy about our 2-3 record, but at least week eight ended in a tie. This week we’re going up against Tennessee Titans cheerleader Jena in what promises to be another barn-burner. The first time we went against a Titans cheerleader, Molly made us look silly after she finished the week 4-1. Let’s hope we...
Tennessee Titans coach Mike Munchak said quarterback Jake Locker will start against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday barring any setbacks.
Locker worked with the starters on Wednesday, and Munchak said the Titans will see how he responds to practicing with the first-team offense. Matt Hasselbeck also took snaps during Wednesday's practice.
''If we think he's ready to...
Tennessee Titans quarterback Matt Hasselbeck reportedly has been fined for a horse-collar tackle Sunday on Chicago Bears cornerback Kelvin Hayden. A source told ESPN.com that the NFL fined Hasselbeck $15,750 for bringing down Hayden after he recovered a fubmle by Titans tight end Jared Cook at the 4-yard line in the fourth quarter with the Bears leading 44-12. In roster moves...
According to Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean, Titans QB Jake Locker is expected to start on Sunday.
Head Coach Mike Munchak stated that Locker would start barring any sort of “mental or physical setback“.
Munchak also mentioned that Locker is “as healthy as he’s going to be” and that there would be “no difference in Locker physically” if he were to sit out another week...

The Tennessee Titans were an absolute mess on Sunday afternoon at home against the Chicago Bears. Thanks to a plethora of turnovers and an opportunistic Bears team, the Titans saw themselves trailing 28-2 -- after the first quarter.
The Titans ended up falling to the Bears 51-20, falling to 3-6 and third place in the AFC South in the process.
Tennessee Titans owner Bud Adams seemed to have taken Sunday’s 51-20 home loss to the Chicago Bears pretty hard. So hard in fact, that he told reporters following the game that the entire organization will be “closely evaluated” over the remainder of the season.
“In my 50 years of owning an NFL franchise, I am at a loss to recall a regular-season home game that was such a...

We thank Daniel Eliesen of Phins Phocus for joining us in this week's question and answer exchange with a blogger from the other side. My answers to his questions are here. Following are his answers to my questions.
Total Titans: After eight games, what can you tell us about Ryan Tannehill? Can he be the franchise quarterback the Dolphins have been looking...
Last week: 25 (-2)
The Titans have won 3 games by a combined 7 points and lost 6 by a combined 133 points, giving them a league worst points differential of -126. After allowing 317 points all of last year, 8th best in the league, they’ve allowed 308 through 9 games this year, by far the worst. However, last week it wasn’t really their defense’s problem. The Bears...
