Can Ryan Fitzpatrick take the Bills back to the playoffs in 2012?
If there was one word used to describe the Buffalo Bills 2011 season it would be turbulent. Things got off to a great start, as the Bills opened the NFL season by winning their first three games on their way to a 5-2 start. However, at that point the wheels fell off the wagon and the Bills went into a tailspin, dropping eight of their last nine games en route to a 6-10 record, causing the team to miss the playoffs for the 12th straight year.
Yet, things were not all bad for the Bills in 2012. There were some very bright spots. The first bright spot was Fred Jackson, who became a dominating running back, who routinely made big play after big play before suffering a season-ending injury.
Once Jackson was ruled out for the season, the Bills level of play on offense really began to take a dip. But in the end, the injury to Jackson may end up being a blessing in disguise because in Jackson’s absence, second-year player C....
