The Arizona Cardinals, one of the league's most surprising teams this season, hosted the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon. The Cardinals came into the match-up with a 4-1 record, while the Bills were at a below average 2-3 record.Arizona wanted this win for a lot of reasons, but most importantly, they wanted to keep up their superb performance so that they could compete with the established 49ers and young and versatile Seahawks, both being division rivals. And the Bills, well, they needed to get back on track after being slaughtered by the San Francisco 49ers 45-3 last week. So, either way, this game was important for both teams. And with that, the game was played. Back and forth they went, and the game was closer than ever. The Bills ended up edging out the Cardinals in overtime, with Rian Lindell kicking the game winning 25-yard field goal. It was a great game played by both Buffalo and Arizona, and there were a lot of things to take away from it. Since I can't list them ...

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- For a few minutes Sunday, Cardinals kicker Jay Feely was the hero. He had just nailed a 61-yard field goal -- a franchise and personal best -- to tie the score againt Bills with just over a minute to play. The crowd at University of Phoenix Stadium roared in delight.
That same crowd was silenced mere minutes later when Feely missed a 38-yard field goal with three...
While I wasn’t a fan of Powell’s blocking this weekend, and I believe Alfonso Smith would be a better starter, William Powell did rush for 70 yards on 13 carries against the Bills in Week 6. Powell added one catch for eight yards. La’Rod Stephens-Howling got the “start,” but Powell acted as the lead back on Sunday. It took Powell and the run game a while to get going, but...
Cardinals QB Kevin Kolb Out For ‘Unspecified Period Of Time’ -
ESPN’s Adam Shefter is reporting that Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kevin Kolb is going to be out for an unspecified period of time. A source with the team source told Shefter said Kolb will miss “several weeks” after he had multiple ribs detach from his sternum as well as suffering a sprained sternoclavicular...
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kevin Kolb is expected to be miss several weeks with rib and chest injuries. The Cardinals have ruled Kolb out of Sunday's game against Minnesota, ESPN.com reported Tuesday. Kolb's injuries include detached ribs from his sternum and a sprained sternoclavicular that he sustained in last Sunday's game against Buffalo on a broken play. He...
Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald Breaks 10,000 Career Yards -
Congrats to Larry Fitzgerald. During yesterday’s game against the Buffalo Bills, Fitzgerald broke the 10,000 career receiving yards mark. Ironically, Texans WR Andre Johnson also broke that mark in the same day.
Larry Fitzgerald has the numbers to prove that he has been the best WR in the NFL for the last 10 years...
Arizona QB Kevin Kolb isn’t believed to have any broken bones, but his protection broke apart several times Sunday, a theme for the Cardinals of late. Whether it is Kolb or John Skelton starting against the Vikings, the offensive line is the biggest question mark.
Arizona kicker Jay Feely made a tying 61-yard field goal and, just as improbably, missed a 38-yarder that would have given the cardiac Cardinals another pull-it-from-the-ashes victory.
Had the Cardinals not had so many mistakes before that emotionally-draining sequence, it would never have come down to those two kicks.
Arizona lost a chance to win in regulation when Feely's...
Kevin Kolb’s rib injury will leave him sidelined against the Vikings and bring back John Skelton into the starting lineup.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kevin Kolb is expected to be out for the next several weeks after having multiple ribs detach from his sternum as well as suffering a sprained sternoclavicular joint in his chest area. That sounds like it hurts.
Kolb has likely been hit more than any other quarterback over the past few weeks and now it’s John...
According to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports, the Buffalo Bills have re-signed linebacker/defensive end Shawne Meriman. With Mark Anderson out for a while the bringing back Merriman makes sense, since he knows their system, even though they claimed he wasn’t a good fit.
Adam Schefter is reporting that Arizona QB Kevin Kolb, who injured his ribs with two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter last Sunday, will miss "several weeks."Fantasy Spin:John Skelton struggled in Kolb's place on Sunday, completing just two of ten passes for 45 yards and an interception. Skelton was the Cardinals starting quarterback on opening day but injured...

Both teams are coming off a tremendous victory from this past week and now we are going to find out which team has a chance to answer the bell as playoff dark horses.
C.J. Spiller and Chris Johnson are two of the more electric runners in the entire NFL, but one has had a lot more success than the other...
