Buffalo Bills RB Frank Gore Jr out to make league pay for letting him go undrafted
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Buffalo Bills have begun rookie minicamp, marking the first time this season we are seeing players in uniform.

While the likes of wide receiver Keon Coleman and safety Cole Bishop will be getting the large helping of attention, the Bills have other noteworthy rookies that were drafted and signed as free agents that will catch the eye of fans this preseason.

Amongst those players is Frank Gore Jr, who went undrafted and was picked up as a free agent by the Bills. Gore himself was asked about going undrafted, to which he said the NFL would live to regret that mistake.

"It pushed me a lot," Gore said. "I feel like there's no way 257 people are better than me in this draft, but now that that process is over, I'm a Bill. I'm here to compete and I'm here to push my teammates and push the running back room and try to get on special teams."

Gore's namesake father spent the 2019 season with the Bills, rushing for 599 yards and two touchdowns. Now, the younger Gore will be looking to make the Bills' roster.
