The 3-6 Buffalo Bills will be playing in their only prime-time game of the season when they host the 4-5 Miami Dolphins on Thursday night. Buffalo will be playing not only to salvage their season, but also to earn their first win against an AFC East opponent in 2012. The Dolphins on the other hand will be attempting to return to .500 on the season. Most Intriguing Battle: C.J. Spiller against the Miami Dolphins run defense. With Fred Jackson out with a head injury, C.J. Spiller once again has the opportunity to show everyone that he’s one of the premier backs in the NFL. Spiller however will have his hands full with the Dolphins run defense. Miami’s squad currently ranks 3rd in the NFL. The team gives up 83.9 yards per game on the ground. It’s safe to say that the Dolphins haven’t seen a back like Spiller yet this season. Spiller currently leads all RBs with an average of 7.26 yards per carry. Something will have to give come Thursday night. If I were a betting man, I’d say the smart money is on Spiller. What to Watch For: -Expect Reggie Bush to hear quite a few jeers after he insulted the women of Buffalo. Reggie Bush won’t hear nearly as many boo’s as Bryan Cox, but expect for him to hear it from the loyal fans of Buffalo. - The Bills defense They’ve been a disaster and major disappointment this season. If they want to turn their season around, Thursday night against the Dolphins is a great starting point. The Bills will have to apply pressure to the rookie signal-caller. In doing so, they may create a few fumbles and sacks. The defense also needs to stop the run. Reggie Bush has had plenty of success in the last year against the Bills. It’s time for the defense to step up and slow down the Dolphin’s best offensive player. -Ryan Fitzpatrick Fitzpatrick is coming off of one of his best games of the season against the New England Patriots. After going 27/40 for 337 yards, it’ll be interesting to see if the Bills QB can have back-to-back great performances. Bold Prediction: The Bills will force four turnovers on the Miami Dolphins and win by double-digits.       The post Buffalo Bills vs. Miami Dolphins Preview appeared first on Queen City Sports.
