It has long been thought last year's backup quarterback, Marc Bulger, would sign a contract elsewhere to be a starter again. The likely destination appeared to be Arizona, considering they have a huge need at the position.
Now, though, it appears that Bulger won't go to the Arizona Cardinals which increases the Ravens' chances of signing him to a contract to be their backup for a second consecutive season.
According to this report by ProFootballTalk.com via an Arizona radio station, Bulger doesn't want to play for the Cardinals.
Now it looks like Bulger's destinations to be a starter, if he wants to be a starter, are down to just a handful of teams. This, of course, increases the chances Bulger will be back in a Baltimore uniform when the lockout ends.
