The Eagles Perch:
Brodrick Bunkley was traded to the Cleveland Browns for a 5th round draft pick next year. It seemed like a good trade to me since Bunk would have a chance to start in Pat Shurmur's new 4-3 defense. Also the Browns' staff is made up of almost all former Eagles. From Tom Heckert to Pat Shurmur the Browns apparently like what we do and therefore why wouldn't they want a former first round pick of ours.
Apparently, Bunkley didn't agree. He never showed up in Cleveland and though I thought the trade was official (Gregg Rosenthal agrees with me), the trade didn't happen. Now Bunkley was traded again. This time to the Denver Broncos. This time the Eagles will get an undisclosed 2013 draft pick. As opposed to a 2012 5th rounder. Awesome. Thanks Bunk.
