The Ravens didn’t tender Prescott Burgess a restricted free agent contract, which means the team’s top special teams tackler is a unrestricted free agent when the lockout is over. There is a possibility that the Ravens could re-sign Burgess, but they aren’t making any guarantees. With special teams ace Brendon Ayanbadejo missing games the past two seasons with a quadriceps injury, Burgess led the Ravens in special teams tackles with 34 in 2009 and 15 last season. “I think he's a proven special teams guy, he's a proven backup linebacker and I think on another team he could possibly be a starting linebacker,” Ravens coach John Harbaugh said. “That's something that Prescott is going to have to decide.
