GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The suit coat Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers wore on draft day in 2005 apparently wasn't a highly prized piece of clothing. It was just sitting on the rack at a Goodwill store in Green Bay, where one shopper noticed on the tag that it read, "Aaron Rogers (sic), 41805" and purchased it. That suit coat is now on sale through Heritage Auctions with a current bid that jumped from 600 to 1,300 Friday morning.Though it's unknown how much the Goodwill shopper paid for it, it certainly wasn't in that price range, and theres still plenty of time to drive the price up with online bidding continuing through May 3. Adding to the jackets authenticity is tag for Elevee Custom Clothing of Van Nuys, Calif. That company has tailored suits for Rodgers and other top professional athletes. Rodgers' blue, vertically pinstriped suit coat spent plenty of time in front of cameras on draft day in 2005. He waited in the green room for hours during the draft as he continued to slide down the board, finally landing with the Packers at No. 24. Rodgers has referenced multiple times how the draft slight has motivated him in his NFL career. Since wearing that suit coat in 2005, Rodgers has replaced future Hall of Famer Brett Favre in the hearts and minds of Packers fans, led Green Bay to a Super Bowl XLV victory and been named the 2011 NFL MVP.
