Found October 14, 2011 on Seahawk Addicts:
This week in Seahawks-related news, the axe finally dropped on Aaron Curry, Gil Brandt said something incredibly dumb, and that lazy slug who runs Seahawk Addicts ended up taking the week off because he was sick or something.  I'll put up a general purpose discussion thread for anyone who wants to talk about the games on Sunday, and by Monday I should be back to it with a look at the progress the Seahawks have made in their run game. One last thing before I crawl back into bed: among the top ten entries this month over in the Ultimate Displaced Fan contest is this one from a father and son 12th Man duo currently stuck in South Dakota.  If you're feeling generous, take a moment to click on the link and give 'em a vote.

My Final Take On Aaron Curry

As I’m sure you now know, Aaron Curry is no longer a Seahawk. There’s been plenty written on the subject already. Seattle Times readers have voted him the biggest Seahawks draft “Bust” of the Ruskell Era. (On a side note, he’s not even close to the biggest bust of all time, to me that is still Dan McGwire) The trade even made Joseph proclaim that he’s the “happiest...

Seahawks: Palmer, Garrard potential injury fill-ins at quarterback?

Seahawks beat blogger Matt Larkin is wondering even though Seattle Seahawks Head coach Pete Carroll continues to say he’s comfortable with Charlie Whitehurst and Josh Portis while Tarvaris Jackson is out, isn’t the thought of reuniting with his old USC signalcaller tempting? Carson Palmer, and David Garrard are both available via free agency...

Stories I Don’t Want to Read During the Bye Week

Bye weeks are great for football teams, especially banged up and really young teams. The Seahawks are both of those things, so it’s safe to say that this week is great for the Seahawks. But bye weeks are really bad for sports writers, and consequently they’re really bad for fans. With no football to cover, writers get desperate and type up stories that quite frankly do not deserve...
