According to a report this afternoon, Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB and pending free agent Carnell “Cadillac” Williams is getting some interest from the St. Louis Rams organization. Pro Football Weekly and Rotoworld are reporting that Williams is creating some “buzz” with the Rams organization.
Williams, 29, has made a remarkable comeback into the NFL after suffering terrible injuries to both of his knees. Despite not starting until nearly mid-season, Blount went on to record a 1,000 yard season. Cadillac Williams became more of a third down back for the Buccaneers and has really become an effective pass blocker as well as a receiver out of the backfield, something he was not very adroit at early on in his career.
