Receiver (and sometimes leader of the Decepticons) Calvin Johnson will miss tonight’s preseason game versus the Cleveland Browns due to a knee contusion, the team announced on Thursday afternoon. As the leader to the Decepticons (okay jokes over), Johnson doesn’t need the preseason work. He caught over 2,000 yards last year and is looking to have another great year this year. Johnson caught 3 balls for 58 yards in only two series in last week’s preseason game. The Lions will also now get a closer look at their other receivers. Johnson, arguably the best receiver in the game, proved last year no matter how good he is, he can’t win games by himself. I think it’s officially called the Larry Fitzgerald dilemma.
