Miami Dolphins defensive end Phillip Merling and offensive tackle Lydon Murtha signed their restricted free agent tenders on Tuesday.
Merling collected just four tackles in 10 games last season and has 66 in 47 career contests. The 26-year-old also has 3.5 sacks and one interception in his career.

On Monday, Arizona State quarterback Brock Osweiler menionted on his Twitter feed that he had just landed in Miami, Florida. He’s clearly there to visit with the Dolphins, who could end up taking him in this year’s draft.
Osweiler has the physical tools to be a good NFL quarterback, but since he is coming out of school a year early and is clearly not ready to play right away...
