SEAHAWKS TRAINING CAMP: Day 17Two practices, No pads, 1 hour, 15 minutes each
Roll call: Seven players did not practice. Only new absence was No. 22 Julius Jones, who worked in the morning but not in the evening. Still out: CB Marcus Trufant (PUP, back), LB Aaron Curry (groin), OL Grey Ruegamer (elbow), T Walter Jones (knee), WR Nate Burleson (hamstring) and DL Lawrence Jackson (groin). Returned to practice: DL Michael Bennett. Also C Chris Spencer and T Ray Willis practiced in the evening after the customary morning off.
The practice was not open to the public, which means that reporters are limited in the action that can be described from the practice field. In very general terms, TE John Carlson continued to show great hands, on one play deadening a pass and then grabbing hold of a pass that was affected by a pretty stiff breeze.
