Image By: Ditch D'Signs Maybe it’s because we are at that point in the NFL offseason where there just isn’t any news coming about or surfacing. It could be that I’m just looking to stir things up a little bit. Or maybe I have some legitimate thinking to my current belief that Philadelphia Eagles starting running back LeSean McCoy could triumph his 2011 success in 2012. I won’t dare say I expect him to because it’s a tall order to fill. However I will say that I believe there is a good possibility he could. Think about it, at the start of the 2011 season the Eagles offensive line was expected to be one of the biggest eye sores on the team. Sure it took nearly two months before offensive line coach Howard Mudd got his group showing some chemistry, and most will agree that with the amount of new young faces across the line, the lack of a real offseason proved to be a thorn in the Eagles wing throughout the season. However from November until the Eagles...

Bold Predictions: Philadelphia Eagles

1) The Eagles will miss the Playoffs They will be looking up at the Giants and Cowboys once again. The Eagles have made it a yearly ritual to be statistically excellent in every area except where it matters most: turnovers and record. They commit costly turnovers in critical moments and suffer a meltdown in the fourth quarters of too many games. They will not improve in those...

Philadelphia Eagles: Will They, Should They Bring in Randy Moss?

Brady kept Moss in line, the Eagles would have a harder time. Jim Rogash/Getty Images Randy Moss has announced his desire to return to the NFL. He is one of the greatest talents the sport has ever seen and one of the game’s most dangerous weapons. But it was only when he chose to be. Reports have already surfaced, at least superficially that the Eagles were one of four teams...

Eagles GM Howie Roseman Says WR Desean Jackson Has "A Bright Future"

Eagles general manager Howie Roseman spoke today and while he obviously didn't directly reveal the teams' plans, he did seem to hint that the team wants DeSean Jackson back. "We feel very fortunate to have him on our team," Roseman said Thursday. "He's a player that we drafted, we've grown (with), and we think he's got a great future ahead."...

Eagles say DeSean Jackson has a bright future in Philly

The Eagles are expected to use the franchise tag to keep free agent receiver DeSean Jackson, but they’re talking publicly about getting a long-term deal done with Jackson, not just locking him up via the franchise tender. Eagles General Manager Howie Roseman told Philly.com that everyone in the organization is on board with keeping Jackson…

Philadelphia Eagles 2012 Mock Draft: Pre-Combine, 4 Rounds, Based On Expected FA Moves

Alright Eagles fans, it’s time for my first Philadelphia Eagles mock draft for the 2012 mock season!  Yes, it’s that time of year where everybody tries to be Nostradamus, but ends up looking more like Nostra-dumbass, myself included. Mocks are particularly futile when it comes to predicting what the Eagles will do, as they almost always surprise us (and usually not...

Philadelphia Eagles Ranked As NFL’s Worst Tackling Cornerbacks in 2011

According to Pro Football Focus, the Philadelphia Eagles had the worst tackling cornerbacks in the league in the 2011 season. I’m really shocked to hear this. Most of my memories from the 2011 Eagles are Nnamdi Asomugha, Asante Samuel, and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie laying huge hits on opposing players. (Yes. That was sarcasm.) This season, Asomugha missed 12 of his 52 tackle...

Philadelphia Eagles General Manager Howie Roseman Wants to Keep DeSean Jackson

By now, most people who follow the NFL (and many casual fans) are familiar with the situation surrounding the Philadelphia Eagles’ brash, young receiver DeSean Jackson. There have been an extensive amount of reports indicating that the organization plans to use the franchise tag on Jackson. The franchise tag would give him a 1 year, $9.4 million contract. Jackson made $685,000...

High School Kid Breaks Backboard on sick Alley-Oop

Is there anything more bad-ass than breaking a boackboard in sports? Going so H.A.M. that the game has to be shut down, everybody in the entire gym just has to go home, and you are the No. 1 top play on SportsCenter. That is exactly what happened on Thursday night when Devin Thomas, a senior from Central Dauphin High School in Harrisburg, PA threw down a nasty dunk against Cumberland...
