The Penalty Flag:
As a lifelong Seahawks fan, that question is something I have pondered over and over again. The answer I come up with is this: I just do not know, but it is something that must be figured out in order for them to make the leap from pretender to contender. To be considered a legitimate contender, it simply must happen. No team can win a Super Bowl, let alone a few playoff games without winning some significant games on the road.

BC reader Ken M. sent this over without context. We’ll assume this was at a Seattle bar because the Marshawn Lynch costume outside of Washington just doesn’t play very well.
We also heard from BC reader Michael R. who wanted us to see a photo of his friend dressed as Sandusky at a party in Columbus.
Yes, it just happened that Ohio State played the Nittany Lions on Saturday night...
RENTON, Wash. (AP) Eight games into his inaugural campaign as starting quarterback of the Seattle Seahawks, Russell Wilson has begun to find a groove.
The Seahawks have put more on Wilson's plate in recent weeks as Seattle has gone to the passing game more frequently. Seattle has averaged over 30 carries a game for the season. But of Seattle's four games with fewer than...
Beast Mode Flashes Speed
The Seattle Seahawks lost last week 24-28 to the Detroit Lions, and despite Marshawn Lynch‘s 100-plus yards, he finished with less then 3 yards per carry in one of his worst overall performances. It wasn’t entirely his fault, though, as the offensive line struggled to get to the second level all game long, as they were physically dominated by the Lions...

Vikings players know they are in danger of losing their edge defending the run. The task doesn’t get easier on the road against Marshawn Lynch.
It is an age old question that football fans have considered throughout time. Could the best college football team defeat the worst NFL team? Grades Are In
The Seattle Seahawks went 2-2 during the first quarter of the season. As I expected, they split the games in the second quarter of the season as well.
After the first half of the season, the 4-4 Seahawks are tied for 7th place in the NFC and are 3rd place in the NFC West.
Here is how they got there:
Seattle won 16-12
Despite having seven penalties and...
Philly Sports World Fantasy Week 9
Just when you believe someone’s dead in the water they play a strong game, Detroit winning over Seattle drops my record to 5-3. This weeks PSW game, Miami and the Colts two drastically improved teams from last year. You have to love defense and the Dolphins are allowing 18 points per game, ranking them fifth in the NFL.Dolphins 19-Colts 13
The Seahawks and the Vikings both rely on two of the best running backs. When Adrian Peterson and Marshawn Lynch are workhorses, team success follows. The numbers show it.
The Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks didn't end the first half of the season how they wanted. Both are hoping the second half starts on a positive note Sunday.
The Vikings will try to rebound from their most lopsided loss of the year and hand a third consecutive defeat to the Seahawks, who seek their best start at home since 2005.
This game features the NFL's top...
