As if Tom Brady didn't have it good enough. The guy has multiple Super Bowl rings, a supermodel wife, millions in the bank, and a head of hair that makes Matt Hasselbeck green with envy. For those of you who still believe that life is fair and that nothing this good lasts forever, I’m sorry to inform you that things have actually gotten better for Brady in the last year. Aaron Hernandez and Rob Gronkowski, at 22 and 23 years old respectively, came out of nowhere last year to become the best tight end duo the league has ever seen. Wes Welker, still the best slot receiver in football, caught 122 passes for 1,569 yards in 2011, and is coming back to the team after signing a $9.5 million franchise-tag tender offer. But best of all for Brady, the Patriots signed talented receiver Brandon Lloyd to be the deep threat they have so sorely missed since trading Randy Moss in 2010.Fantasy football owners have taken notice of what’s happening in New England, and have drafted accordingly...

The two-time NFL MVP says he never has had a broken nose before.

Updates. With AP Photos. By HOWARD ULMAN AP Sports Writer The New England Patriots have a quarterback, tight end and wide receiver who are among the best at their positions in the NFL.
Add Brandon Lloyd to that rich mix, and the passing game should be even better than the one that took them to the Super Bowl last season.
''We'll see,'' Lloyd said.
The New England Patriots head into the 2012 season looking for their offensive leaders to deliver once again and lead the team to the playoffs. Here are the numbers you can expect to see from the Pats' offensive weapons and how they stack up to the rest of the league. 8 a.m. ET: Tom Brady found himself staring down small blades of grass plenty during the Patriots preseason schedule, but he's hoping that will change once the real games kick off Sunday. Week 1's matchup against Tennessee will be the offensive line's first true test. The line problems are definitely a big concern for Bill Belichick and the Patriots' coaching staff...
Pro Football Weekly says that Vontae Davis has some risks, but things may be looking brighter for him in Indianapolis:
A source on the scene in Miami for Davis’ first three seasons said he isn’t a bad kid, nor did he habitually make mistakes with the Dolphins; rather, he was a young player who had occasional run-ins and whose focus and work ethic was a problem at times.
It has been 216 days since we last saw NFL action, and from everything we have seen so far over the opening weekend of the NFL season, it has been worth the wait. How will the Patriots beleaguered offensive line handle week 1?
The Patriots offensive line has been pretty solid in Tom Brady's career and is one reason he has been able to become one of the best. This offseason saw them lose Matt Light to retirement, and Brian Waters to a possible...
All those preseason worries about the Patriots offense? They're out the window after New England put a 34-13 beatdown on the Tennessee Titans on Sunday afternoon. The defending AFC champions were the heavy favorite heading into the matchup, so perhaps the outcome shouldn't have been unexpected. But either way, it was a convincing victory for a squad which is expected to rack...
Some of the greatest and best known prophets have more often been wrong than right. Take the famous Nostradamus for example. It’s kind of like a weatherman. You can predict and forecast the weather but their wrong all the time. I’ve been caught in the rain countless times because my local weatherman can’t read the Doppler radar. Now they just say there’s a chance...
