New York Giants
Defensive tackle Chris Canty and rookie cornerback Jayron Hosley are not active for the New York Giants must-win game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
Canty sprained a knee last week and Hosley, who would have started with Prince Amukamara battling a hamstring injury, has a quadripcep injury. Rocky Bernard started for Canty.
Receiver Ramses Barden also is inactive for the Giants, who needed to win, have Chicago and Minnesota lose and Dallas tie or lose to make the playoffs.
The Eagles are without defensive tackle Fletcher Cox and linebacker Mychal Kendricks, both sidelined with concussions in what might be Andy Reid's final game as Philadelphia's coach.
Derek Landri starts for Cox and Akeem Jordan is in for Kendricks.

Reid will go down as one of the Eagles’ greatest head coaches of all time, but he could never win the big one and things have only gone down hill over the past two seasons.
According to Dan Pompei of the National Football Post, some people around the NFL are convinced Jon Gruden will get back into coaching this offseason and the one team that might be the right situation for him is the Philadelphia Eagles.
People around the NFL who know are convinced Jon Gruden is coming back to coaching this year, provided the right situation presents itself. I’ve...
Nearly 400 students, parents and faculty members from Sandy Hook Elementary School were honorary guests at MetLife Stadium in pre-game ceremony before the New York Giants played the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

As the Philadelphia Eagles prepare for their last game of the 2012 season, a look at headlines about their final opponent, the New York Giants. As New York no longer has a chance of winning the NFC East, playoff scenarios abound.
If the Giants defeat the Eagles on Sunday (boo!), it is p9ossible that they can still win a spot in the playoffs. But they will need a whole lot of help...
Following yesterday’s ugly loss to the New York Giants in
their season finale, it began to be reported that the Philadelphia Eagles were
set to part ways with long-time head coach Andy Reid. Team owner Jeff Lurie told
Reid Friday that he would be out as Eagles’ coach, ending his 14-year run with
the team, reports Reuben Frank of CSN Philly.
Lurie, according to multiple league...

Michael Vick will get the start this Sunday in which will be his last as an Eagle (most likely). He has a chance to show to any interested teams that he still can get it done. The Giants have to have this game and get a ton of help, so the Eagles will be looking to play spoiler VS their rival.

I know it took an injury to starting QB Nick Foles for this to happen, but it's good to see Michael Vick back as the starter for the Philadelphia Eagles as they close the season out against the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants on Sunday afternoon. It appears this will be the last time we'll see Vick in an Eagles uniform, as the team will almost certainly experience...
As expected, the Philadelphia Eagles announced Monday morning that they have parted ways with Andy Reid after 14-years of being the team’s head coach.
Team chairman and chief executive officer Jeffrey Lurie held a 12 p.m. press conference Monday at the NovaCare Complex to discuss the reasoning of Reid’s removal. Reid led the Eagles to six NFC East titles, five NFC Championship...
According to ProFootbalTalk.com, Eagles head coach Andy Reid wants to coach the San Diego Chargers next season after he’s let go by Philly in the offseason.
Despite the collapse in Philadelphia, Reid is still a very good head coach that knows how to get the best out of his quarterbacks and would be a big help to Philip Rivers who’s been struggling over the past few years.
The simple truth is that this is nonsense (and a whole lot of other words you can't say around your kids). The NFL broke its own rules and provided an unfair advantage to the New York Giants, which thankfully proved useless. The NFLPA can't do anything about that advantage and any possible lost wages because they waived their right to continue the chain of lawsuits and court...
The Philadelphia Eagles officially fired head coach Andy Reid after 14 seasons. "Andy Reid won the most games of any head coach in Eagles history and he is someone I respect greatly and will remain friends with for many years to come," Eagles chairman and CEO Jeffrey Lurie said in a statement. According to a report from CSN Philly's Reuben Frank, Andy Reid has been relieved of his duties as head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles. His fourteen year tenure with the Eagles ended with a 42-7 season-ending loss to the New York Giants.
