The Arizona Cardinals fired head coach Ken Whisenhunt and general manager Rod Graves, according to multiple reports. The moves come after a 5-11 debacle in 2012 that saw the Cardinals start four different quarterbacks. Arizona finished the season with Brian Hoyer, who was signed off the street in December, starting at San Francisco on Sunday. The Cardinals began the season 4-0, but managed only one victory the rest of the way. Whisenhunt was hired in 2007 after serving as the offensive coordinator for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He went 8-8 in his first season, and then made a run to the Super Bowl in 2008, eventually losing to the Steelers. However, the Cardinals have struggled to be a playoff contender since quarterback Kurt Warner retired after the 2009 season.
