TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Cardinals have been granted permission to talk to Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley for their vacant head coaching job. The Arizona Republic first reported the news Thursday morning. It was then confirmed by the Cardinals website.

Todd Haley has to have an advantage over other candidates to be interviewed for the job of Head Coach in Arizona, other than maybe Ray Horton (current Defensive Coordinator). His good relationship and reputation with the franchise may very well help be a deciding factor when it’s all said and done. If he really wants this job it’s probably his to lose.
If there is a place where...

Haley use to be the Cardinals offensive coordinator just a few years ago, so he does have ties to the organization. His time as the head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs didn’t do a whole lot to showcase...

In his final press conference of the disappointing 2012 season, Pittsburgh Steelers’ Head Coach Mike Tomlin was for the most part his usual self. Watching and listening to a Tomlin presser is often like trying to decipher a Little Orphan Annie Decoder ring. It starts out with all kinds of anticipation and then leaves you feeling completely perplexed and disappointed. In other words...
