Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kevin Kolb injured his ribs
during Sunday’s overtime loss to the Buffalo Bills and was replaced by John
Kolb was injured with just
more than two minutes left in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 19-16 overtime
loss when he tried to fall forward and two Bills players landed on him.
After lying on the field for several minutes following the
sack, Kolb was able to exit under his own power. He will undergo additional
tests today to determine the extent of his rib injury, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Kolb was replaced by Skelton, who was the Cardinals’
starting quarterback entering the regular season. Skelton, who was replaced by
Kolb after suffering a right ankle injury during Arizona’s opener against the
