Cardinals ILB Pago Togafau has played so well after being signed during training camp that expected starter Monty Beisel's days could be numbered. Togafau's play-making abilities are intriguing coaches, and he's been running with the first team in practice. "A guy that made plays, that's going to have contributions to the special teams," head coach Ken Whisenhunt said when describing Togafau. "He's a steady player -- a guy who's going to be in the right place." Togafau has made a rapid rise after being re-signed on August 3, and now appears to be a safe bet to make the team. However, it remains to be seen if he'll end up starting at ILB in the regular season, and with only 24 career tackles in three years, his productivity remains a question mark.
