Reserve quarterback Brian St. Pierre plans to fly to Arizona this weekend for a physical and expects to re-sign with the team next week, he said. St. Pierre will join Matt Leinart and Derek Anderson at the position. St. Pierre said coach Ken Whisenhunt has "reiterated that he has no issue about it (the position) being competitive" but St. Pierre also knows how the NFL works and joked that "I don't know how competitive it's going to be," because the Cardinals have far more invested in Leinart and Anderson.
