Arizona Cardinals rookie quarterback Logan Thomas spoke with the press Friday stating that he rejects being labeled as a project.
Thomas was the Cardinals fourth round draft pick out of Virgina Tech, has had some inaccuracy issues which need to be dealt with. Despite this, Thomas feels as if he is closer to playing than most are expecting.
“I think I’m a lot more ready than people think. I think people labeled me as a project simply off stats, which I can understand what they see, what they think.”
Some problems Thomas has already fixed were keeping his foot flat on the ground while passing.
“I’d be on my tippy toes, which would cause me not to have the right balance and cause the ball to be erratic. So we fixed that to where I’m putting my whole foot on the ground.”
