When it comes to his desire for a new contract, Arizona Cardinals star
wide receiver Anquan Boldin has decided to let his agent, Drew
Rosenhaus, do the talking. In an interview with Kent Somers of the
Arizona Republic, Boldin, who has two years left on his current deal,
was in a "jovial" mood but Boldin didn't want to talk about contract
negotiations that are currently on hold. "Letting my agent take care of
it; I'm completely out of that," Boldin told the Republic. "I'm
enjoying the offseason, and I plan on continuing to do that. When it
gets done, it will get done. I can't worry about when, or if, it's
going to happen. The only thing I can do right now is take care of
myself, continue to work out, stay in shape, enjoy the off-season.
Because the season comes around quick." Boldin was asked if he still
wants to play for the Cardinals, and he essentially said it's not up to
him. "We'll see what they say," Boldin said. "This is totally out of my
hands."
