The Cardinals will likely release Kerry Rhodes during the 2013 offseason. The good news about the potential Rhodes and Cardinals divorce is that it would be mutually beneficial for both parties. On the one hand, the Cardinals will save about 4.5 million dollars in cap space for 2013, and since Rhodes contract is set to expire in 2013. There will be no major hits to the future cap space in the future for the Cards.
