This game features a matchup of the past two Heisman winners and features a tale of two quarterbacks.Robert Griffin III is creating a cult-like fan base as he is creating magic every time the ball is in his hand, turning the average NFL fan into a RGIII junkie. He was leading the NFL in completion percentage, but then he faced the Pittsburgh defense and only completed 47 percent last Sunday. It didn’t help that is receivers dropped 10 passes. On the other hand, last year NFL Rookie of the Year, Cam Newton, is turning those once supportive fans against him as he places the blame on Carolina miscues on everybody but him. Year 2 for Newton is a tough one. Teams have figured out how to stop him. Maybe he can give some advice to Griffin. He didn’t play bad against the Bears throwing for over 300 yards, but that untimely pick six in the fourth quarter sealed the deal for the Panthers. However, I think that Newton has turned the corner. This will be a shootout. Bold Prediction No. 1: Cam Newton will fill up the stat sheet against the porous Washington defense.  The Redskins' defense have been decimated with injuries and they are horrible. Their pass defense ranks last in the NFL and Cam Newton will have a field day. Washington does not pressure the quarterback at all, so look for Newton to pick apart the Redskins' secondary. If Washington decides to play man to man and blitz, Newton will beat the Skins' defense with his legs and rush for over 100 yards. Newton stat line: 29 for 37 405 yards, four touchdowns; 11 carries for 89 yards.Bold Prediction No. 2: RGIII goes NUTS!I love this rookie. He can play and has proven that he is the next BIG THING in Washington. Move over Mr. President….Enter RGIII. In Griffin WE TRUST. Griffin stats may not blow you away, but he is efficient and doesn’t make careless rookie mistakes.  He has learned to run when he needs to run and get out of bounds to avoid unnecessary hits. The Panthers' defense ranks 15th in the NFL in yards allowed per game, so it won’t be easy for Griffin to make plays. However, the Panthers have been inconsistent on defense and I expect Griffin to make some big plays. It is going to be fun to see him and Newton duke it out at FedEx Field. Griffin stat line: 22 for 30 285 yards, three touchdowns; 9 carries 104 yards, one touchdown. Bold Prediction No. 3: This game will go into overtime and be a shootout.  This will be the most entertaining game on Sunday. It will go back and forth and will be a shootout.  Washington’s defense will not be able to stop Newton.  On the contrary, the Panthers will do just enough to stop Griffin. The game will come down to the wire, go into overtime and the Panthers win it by a field goal. Final Score: Carolina 43, Washington 40
