The Carolina Panthers have signed 2012 undrafted free agent Dale Moss who played collegiately for South Dakota State. Moss spent time with the Packers practice squad last season and was released by the Bears just over a week ago but it didn’t take him long to find a home. Rather than relying on the zone read, new Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator Mike Shula wants to operate a more conventional attack with Cam Newton under center. Since being taken first overall in 2011, the 24-year-old Newton has thrown 40 touchdowns, against 29 interceptions, for 7,920 yards. A 2011 Pro Bowler and AP Offensive Rookie of the Year, Newton’s also rushed 253...
