This was a very interesting season for Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers started off winning only 2 of their first 10 games. Questions started to surface about the leadership skills of QB Cam Newton, if head coach Ron Rivera was actually the right man for the job, and if this team would be dismantled after giving a combined $80 million in extensions to its two running backs, DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart. However, down the stretch, the Panthers turned it on winning 5 of their last 6 games. Their play going into the end of the season showed ownership enough that they turned down the burner under head coach Ron Rivera's seat. As for the team, they definitely have something to build on going into the 2013 season. There are some things that this team can do to keep the momentum going and make next season a good year for the Panthers. If the team vows to make these 3 things happen, they could make a serious run at a playoff spot next season.

"Photobombing" is quite the unique skill, requiring impeccable timing and an exuberant personality. Aaron Rodgers is generally regarded as the NFL's top photobomber, spurring a website dedicated to his greatest hits.

While several coaches around the NFL found themselves without a job Monday, the Carolina Panthers' Ron Rivera escaped unscathed - at least for now.

The 2012 NFL regular season is now over. The Carolina Panthers had high expectations heading into this season but an disappointing 1-6 start put a damper on those expectations. The Panthers, based largely on improved play from QB Cam Newton, turned things around in the second half of the season, but it was too little, too late as the club failed to qualify for post-season play once...
Carolina linebacker Luke Kuechly had the most tackles in the NFL this season and it wasn't even close. After Kuechly's 164 tackles, the next highest total belonged to 49ers linebacker NaVorro Bowman with 149 tackles.Fantasy Spin:Kuechly's strong play was a huge reason why the Panthers were able to go from 28th in the NFL in total defense last season to 10th this season...
Carolina Panthers coach Ron Rivera is justifiably under scrutiny after failing.
He failed to make the playoffs.
He failed to manage a few key losses correctly.
He failed to help his superstar quarterback keep his emotions in check.
He failed to do what elite NFL coaches do.
Where does that leave him?
