Carr says both sides are committed

Ravens cornerback and player rep Chris Carr said Thursday that the extension on negotiations over the collective bargaining agreement was a positive move and an indication that both sides want to get a new contract. "I feel now that it is a good sign for everyone that there is a 24 hour extension of the CBA," Carr said in an e-mail. "It shows that both sides are commited to getting a deal done. [I'm] pretty optimistic about the process. All the players are united."
