The Seattle Seahawks have had a hard time moving the football on the field and despite all the troubles head coach Pete Carroll said he is sticking with his rookie quarterback.
"We're going with Russell right now," Carroll told The News Tribune. "He's working his tail off to get it right, and where all of the focus goes to the quarterback position, there's a lot of guys who figure into what's going on, and he's one of them. So we're just trying to get better."
Wilson played well enough in the preseason to win the job from prozed free agent pickup Matt Flynn, but has seemed to struggle this season. The Seahawks are ranked last in total passing with 130.8 YPG and ranked 29th in total offense in large part to Marshawn Lynch's solid year.
Another reason Carroll may be sticking with Russell Wilson is that Flynn's elbow injury is keeping him out of practice and limits his throws in workouts.

Russell Wilson had a very rough outing this weekend versus the Rams

Seahawks MMQB: Miscues and missed opportunities as Seahawks lose 19-13
The better team won
I should re-phrase that, the team that played better on Sunday won. Hats off to the St. Louis Rams for the big divisional win. The Rams coaching staff put together a great game plan that put the team in position to win.
The players executed the plan and that is why they won. On the other side of the field, the Seattle Seahawks entered the Edward Jones Dome...
Moments in time…The Seattle Seahawks week that was
Silence of the lambs
With everything going right in the Seahawks world going into Sunday’s divisional matchup with St. Louis, the Hawks sure picked a bad time to let their true colors show.
Now the world can really see that the win the previous week was a fluke, and we are the the laughing stock of the NFL community.
Sure, there are worse teams that us, but to ride high with...
