TEAMS: Oakland Raiders, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals
Originally there was some preliminary speculation that the Oakland Raiders were interested in signing Terrell Owens, but unfortunately Terrell Owens has the potential to be a headache and distraction that the Raiders do not need in their quest to get back to the playoffs. Even though, TO led the Cincinnati Bengals in receptions last season with Carson Palmer as quarterback, it is clear he wants to put that time period behind him which is why the team brought in TJ Houshmandzadeh for a work out before Terrell Owens.
It seems like he may have worked himself out of league. With a questionable suicide attempt, no scouts attending his personal work out, and teams not wanting to risk any team chemistry issues at the mid point mark of the season, the NFL may have quietly kicked Terrell Owens out.
