Found June 10, 2013 on NFL Draft Zone:
From the looks of it, the Arizona Cardinals plan to keep Tyrann Mathieu busy during his rookie campaign. While working with the Cardinals’ first-team nickel package, Mathieu also has impressed Cardinals coaches at safety, Sports Illustrated’s Peter King wrote Monday. King was on hand for last week’s organized team activities and watched the former LSU star make a diving deflection of a Carson Palmer pass. Mathieu was “buzzing around plays” during workouts. If these early indications mean anything, he’s more than a supporting cast member. “He reminds (me) of Troy Polamalu with his closing speed,” Palmer told King. “He might not be the fastest guy out there, but he can change directions and get to the ball really fast, like Troy.” That is a huge compliment for someone that has not spent one minute in live game action in NFL. If Mathieu can keep his head in the tight place he can be a playmaker for sure, but he has yet to use good judgement.

Cardinals' Palmer: Mathieu reminds me of Polamalu

A lot has been saidwritten about Tyrann Mathieu over the last six weeks. Very little of it has been related to his on-field ability -- and that's despite his move to free safety with the Cardinals, who drafted him in the third round and have playing time up for grabs following the departure of starter Kerry Rhodes. That conversation was furthered a bit Monday morning, though...

Carson Palmer: Tyrann Mathieu is like Troy Polamalu

There was a considerable amount of apprehension surrounding Tyrann Mathieu as he entered the league. Aside from his drug habits, the man formerly known as the "Honey Badger" stood just 5-foot-9, quite small for a NFL safety. Apprehension has turned into adulation, however, as he's impressing his teammates -- quarterback Carson Palmer, in particular. In his Monday...

When I watched the other day, Mathieu, working with the...

Carson Palmer Says Tyrann Mathieu Reminds Him Of Troy Polamalu

Arizona Cardinals rookie safety Tyrann Mathieu might have made a name for himself in the last year because of his actions off the field, but he’s definitely done an a good job of impressing his new professional employer on the field. Mathieu has been an absolute disruption for the Cardinals offense, and his disruption and playmaking abilities has Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer...
